Christmas Decorating

Just so you can see what we did.  I love it!  Not bad for year one, and no 20 foot ladder.  :)

Up until last Christmas, I had a 7 ft pre-lit tree.  I got it for free, at work, in KC, many years ago.  It was on the dock, to go in the trash, and had been thrown away by KCPL.  It rotated and everything.  There were some lights out on the bottom, but big deal.  Until last year.  I decided I needed a smaller tree (in the old house) and threw it out.  Donald got us this nice little tree.  I kept the rotating thingy, and made it work. 

Fast forward one year, and 10+ foot ceilings, and I am kicking myself!  Now, Donald says it's time for me to give up on the whole artificial thing!  Since I travel a lot in November and December, it looks like a 8 foot real tree may be in our future!
